Power BI Dashboards & Reports

Turn scattered Excel sheets and Tally exports into one dashboard that updates itself.

We build Power BI dashboards that pull from your Excel files, Google Sheets, SQL databases or Tally exports, clean the data and show the numbers that matter. Sales, inventory, finance, admissions or clinic reports can be refreshed on schedule and shared securely with your team.

  • Distributors and traders tracking sales by area, product and salesperson
  • Manufacturers watching stock, production and dispatch
  • Retail chains and shops with multiple branches

Overview

Why it matters

In many businesses, someone spends hours every week copying figures from Tally, billing software and Excel sheets into one summary report. By the time the owner sees it, the numbers are already old, and every manager seems to have a slightly different version. A Power BI dashboard fixes this by connecting directly to your data sources, applying the same cleaning steps each time, and showing one agreed set of numbers that everyone can open on a laptop or phone.

We start with the questions you ask most often. Which products are selling, and in which area? How much stock is lying slow? Which customers have overdue payments? How many admissions came from each source this month? We then connect your sources, clean them in Power Query, build a proper data model with DAX measures, and design pages around those questions. Charts are kept simple and readable, with filters for date, branch, product or salesperson so you can explore without breaking anything.

Once the dashboard is ready, we publish it to Power BI Service, set up scheduled refresh where your data source allows it, and configure row-level security so each branch manager or salesperson sees only their own data. We train your team to use filters and make small changes themselves. Please note that Power BI Pro or other licences are purchased from Microsoft under your organisation's account; we advise on what you need. You receive a fixed written quote after a short call, and the report files are yours.

What you get with us

01

Connect your existing data

We connect Excel files, Google Sheets, SQL or MySQL databases and Tally or billing software exports, so you do not have to change the systems your staff already use.

02

Power Query cleaning

Inconsistent product names, merged cells, blank rows and date formats are cleaned with repeatable Power Query steps, so every refresh applies the same fixes automatically.

03

Data model and DAX measures

A proper star-schema data model with DAX measures for sales growth, margins, stock days, collections and targets, written so totals stay correct whichever filter you choose.

04

KPI pages that make sense

Clear pages for sales, inventory, finance, school admissions or clinic visits, each focused on a few key figures with drill-down to the details behind them.

05

Row-level security

Branch managers, salespeople or department heads can each be restricted to their own data, while owners and directors see the complete picture across the business.

06

Scheduled refresh and sharing

Reports are published to Power BI Service with scheduled refresh where your source allows it, and shared with your team through the web or the Power BI mobile app.

Step by step

How we work

  1. 1

    Discuss your reports

We understand what you track today, which reports take time and which decisions the dashboard should support.

  2. 2

    Review data & quote

We look at sample exports from your systems, list the pages and measures, and send a fixed written quote with timeline.

  3. 3

    Model & build

We connect sources, clean data in Power Query, build the data model and DAX measures, then design the report pages.

  4. 4

    Check numbers together

We match dashboard totals against your Tally or billing figures with you, and fix any difference before going live.

  5. 5

    Publish & train

We publish to Power BI Service, set up refresh and access, and train your team to read and filter the dashboard.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer the same day.

Do we need to buy Power BI licences?

Power BI Desktop is free, but sharing reports through Power BI Service usually needs Power BI Pro or another licence, which you buy directly from Microsoft. We advise on the right option for your team size before you buy anything.

Can Power BI read data from Tally?

Yes, in most cases through regular Excel exports from Tally, or through an ODBC connection where your Tally setup supports it. We check what your version allows and choose the simplest reliable method.

Will the dashboard update automatically?

For cloud sources like Google Sheets, SharePoint or online databases, scheduled refresh can run several times a day. For files on an office computer, a Microsoft data gateway may be needed, which we help set up.

Can different staff see different data?

Yes. With row-level security, a branch manager sees only their branch, and a salesperson sees only their own customers, while the owner sees everything. We set up and test these roles before handover.

Can we change the dashboard ourselves later?

Yes. You receive the full .pbix file, and we train your team to add filters, adjust visuals and create simple pages. For new data sources or complex measures, we are available on WhatsApp.

Our data is messy. Is that a problem?

It is very common. Cleaning is part of the work, and we write the steps in Power Query so they repeat automatically. If something cannot be fixed reliably, we tell you and suggest a small change in how data is entered.

Ready to get started?

Send us one or two of your current Excel reports, and we will suggest a dashboard plan and fixed written quote after a short call.
